The image is actually unaltered. It was taken at F3.2 at a 60th during one of the strangest atmospheric phenomenons I have ever witnessed. The island of Santorini in the southern Cyclades of Greece is supposed to be getting a sand storm coming from Africa. The sand storm did not show up but there was this quality of light that was absolutely haunting. It was almost yellow but not quite. Everything was diffused and anywhere less beautiful I think it would have looked cataclysmic. But this place is beautiful and the combination was truly amazing.
