first day in my new place. my housemate's dogs tore open one of my boxes and ate all my milkthistle along with 90grams of cacoa powder.upon discovery of the situation my housemate's were away and not answering their phones. i had design pesentation with my boss within the hour. i called a vet, drove to the grocery, bought a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and some dolemades. i raced home and poured the hydrogen peroxide down the throats of two somewhat unwilling canine patients, in the hopes of inducing vomiting, waiting five minutes before readministering the dosage. after the third dose i gve up fearing that if the chocolate didnt kill them the hydrogen peroxide surely would. i put both dogs in my uhaul and started driving to the vet in boulder. i had called ahead inquiring the cost to make my dog vomit.
