In Michigan, people use their hand when talking about the state. They hold their hand out, right palm facing you if they are a leftie, front of the left hand facing you if they are a rightie, point to somewhere on their hand and say, this is where City X is. I think this is funny. So, for extra giggles, I hold my hands out wrong.
has anyone ever given you a Michigan High Five? you press your mittening hands together and wrap your thumbs around each other's hands, like a hug. cutest state pride ever.
