First Writing Class

I taught my first writing class today.
4 hours.
On collaboration.
This week's topic was "Writing and other Writers"
Woo-wee. It was so much fun. I'm exhausted!

Here are my students working on erasures:

Here is one erasure that was made today:

And here was a piece that the class co-wrote:

The skies went dark with smoke

How do you get to know the sky?

You are and are not the love of my life

It wasn’t my city, it was my choice, I’m not going back

A field of heather appeared out of nowhere; barely ten miles outside the city limits and it was as though they were in another world.

When I was in junior high, all the cool rockers wrote songs about speed limits.

High above the center on a map of approval, begging, rocky, talus slopes shear down.

Next week: "Writing and Photography"

  2. what a great class--I wish I could participate, too! "If you have enough each mirror reflects the same point." Of course.

    Hooray for you, Miss Kristen.
